Marsh
& Legge Land Surveyors, P.L.C. currently employs thirty-one
full-time employees and three part-time employees. This firm
employs five land surveyors; four are licensed in the Commonwealth of
Virginia, and two of them are licensed in the state of West Virginia. Marsh and
Legge also employs a full-time soil scientist. Surveyors in
training and our AutoCAD technicians support the surveying effort with the
required skills to provide high quality surveying and mapping products. On staff are
eight full-time field crews equipped with modern
total station instruments and data collectors.
Each crew is assigned a specified surveying vehicle that is
maintained and ready for travel on survey projects. The firm maintains
four GPS field crews that are proficient with and carry static and dual
frequency RTK GPS equipment. The
firm is supported by three full time administrative staff personnel and
a full time operations manager with over 20 years experience in the
surveying profession.
Marsh
and Legge also provides Phase
One Environmental Site Assessments on selected projects for the
Department of Conservation and Recreation. A full time Information
Technology Specialist is on staff to maintain the firm’s network, website, computer
equipment, and other related equipment.
