NORTHERN SHENANDOAH VALLEY ALUMNI CHAPTER

The newly formed Northern Shenandoah Valley VMI Alumni Chapter will cover the geographic locations of the City of Winchester, Frederick County, Clarke County, Shenandoah County and Warren County in Virginia, and Berkeley County and Jefferson County in West Virginia.

The appointed officers of the Chapter for 2005 are as follows:

President: Doug Thomas, Class of 1965

Vice President: Bob Mitchell, Class of 1962

Secretary: Chuck Maddox, Class of 1968

Treasurer: Scot Marsh, Class of 1981

The newly formed Northern Shenandoah Valley VMI Alumni Chapter held its first meeting on Saturday Feb. 12th at the Winchester Country Club. The Chapter had an outstanding attendance and plans to meet again in the early fall.

VMI Superintendent J.H. Binford Peay III was the guest speaker at Saturday's dinner, where he discussed his Vision 2039 for the Institute. 2039 marks the 200th anniversary of VMI.
